However, there’s room for growth. A few customers have noted a desire for a larger selection of mock meats, indicating that Galleria has the potential to expand and cater to even more dietary preferences. This shows a responsiveness to customer needs that could enhance their already stellar reputation.
Overall, my visits to Galleria Asian Market have been marked by exploration and satisfaction. Whether I’m picking up unique ingredients for a special recipe or indulging in the delightful offerings from Korner Kitchen, every experience has deepened my appreciation for Asian cuisine. If you’re in the area and seek to enhance your culinary repertoire, Galleria is a must-visit destination. The fusion of quality products and a warm shopping atmosphere makes every trip worthwhile.

I'm a fan of Galleria/Korner Kitchen! It's one of the few places locally where you can buy premade onigiri (and also find the onigiri wrapping sets that you can use to make and bundle up your own at home!). The market feels slightly higher priced than Hua Xing for some items, but it's a great, clean and well-organized store with a good selection of items from different types of asian cuisine nonetheless. I also think I would like to come by Korner Kitchen more often for onigiri and sushi given the reasonable prices and fast service. It's very easy to place on order on their site and drop in and pick it up.

After being sold last year and having new owners, Galleria is still best Asian market in the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti area hands down. They have added additional items in the store since the pandemic, including cooking items like, triangular rice molds for making onigiri, disposable chopsticks, and tableware. The management has also added a few new types of rice, including Tamanishiki, which is a super premium short grain rice that is used in high quality Japanese restaurants. "This type of rice is a combination of Koshihikari rice and Yumegokochi rice, with a rich flavor and excellent texture." Likewise, they carry Nishiki, and various Korean brands as well As always, the interior or the store is very, very clean, and items are well stocked. Likewise, the staff will go out of their way to special order some items if they are not normally carried on the shelves. The best thing is that they added a small eatery in the store called the "Korner Kitchen," which offers a very diversified menu of Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese items.

I really enjoy stopping at Galleria. I usually encounter friendly and helpful staff and it place always seems very clean. I wish they had a bigger selection of mock meats (or maybe I just can't find them), but I always walk out with plenty!

Excellent market with a great assortment of Asian products. Great prices and always very clean in there!

Clean and open aisles to shop for Korean, Japanese and South East Asian groceries. I'm waiting for Kozy Kitchen to start serving deliciousness.

A decent sized Korean market. Other international markets along this street. A wide selection of meats for Korean BBQ or hotpot. Three refrigerated/ freezer sections. I was able to find dumplings and condiments. Kimchi was available but not much else by the way of prepared side dishes. Clerk was helpful. Few if any Chinese products or fresh vegetables. Otherwise, most ingredients for Korean meal prep. Half my bill was for a pack of short ribs, so it can get pricy. Pleasant shopping environment. Clean and friendly.
